Dumfries & Galoway District General Hospital

will welcome its first patients to the wards in December 2017

Dumfries and Galloway District General Hospital

NHS Dumfries and Galloway named Serco as its facilities management partner for their new district general hospital in October 2014. The 350-bed facility will open in late 2017 and promises to transform healthcare in South West Scotland.

The contract, which was awarded following an intense period of competitive dialogue and evaluation has a value of over £40million, and will see Serco provide estate and energy management services as well as associated helpdesk for the 25-year operational term. With construction already well underway, we are expecting to welcome the first patients to the wards in December 2017.
