They’re also part of a wider Serco team that numbers over 30,000 in the UK - all working to support public services and the people that they serve. Using specialist behavioural analysis, we work with prisoners on an individual basis or through offending behaviour programmes - addressing the specific risks and needs of each resident in order to reduce the chances of them reoffending. As a team we’re always looking to innovate and evolve our programmes, and we also work extensively with our colleagues within prison custody, providing evidence-based opinion on factors relating to security, reintegration and release.

With five prisons across the UK and a breadth of roles, you’ll be wholeheartedly supported on career development, with internal progression strongly encouraged. We actively fund psychologists towards chartered and/or registered status, along with ongoing CPD activities. Our centre of excellence shares best practice and ideas from the UK and from our NZ and Aus prisons.
