Business in the Community
Business in the Community are leading a movement to create a fair and sustainable world in which to live and work. The findings of BITC’s Race at Work 2018: The Scorecard Report led to the creation of the Race at Work Charter detailing five calls to action for organisations committed to improving equality of opportunity in the workplace.
Women in Defence Charter
In 2019, Serco signed the Women in Defence Charter, a pledge for gender balance across our business. We are committing to be the very best at driving diversity and inclusion within our organisation and providing fair opportunities for women to succeed at all levels.
Armed Forces Covenant
We were one of the first companies to publicly commit to the Armed Forces Covenant in 2013, and currently hold a Gold Award. The aim of this is to ensure that no member of the Armed Forces community should face disadvantage in the position of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen.
