Operational Graduate Programmes
Working in one of our Operational Graduate Programmes means being directly involved in the delivery of the public services we provide. Organised into regional rotations, you’ll experience what it's like to work and manage on the front line of our business and in a variety of sectors.
Make no mistake, you won’t be there to watch or to keep notes - you’ll be engaged in the real and pressing issues of delivering a great service. From day one you’ll be picking up the skills and experience you need to help run our contracts and our business. So you’ll need to bring your problem solving skills, commercial mind-set, and your enthusiasm to bear. You’ll also be engaged in a variety of environments and locations, so you’ll need to be willing to travel and to work on a flexible schedule, which will include shift work on some placements.

Southampton University Hospital, SO16 6YD
We work with the NHS to help create a better hospital environment for patients, their families and staff through the provision of cleaning and catering services.
Marine and Maritime Services, PO1, Portsmouth
From our base in Portsmouth we provide varied support to the Royal Navy, including vessel provision, vessel support, and specialist staff.
Central London
London Cycle Hire, Islington, London N1 9PT
The London Cycle Hire Scheme (LCHS) gives Londoners and visitors with the opportunity to rent one of 12,300 bikes, with Serco providing a full-service provision of bike distribution and maintenance, along with contact centre, IT, and finance support.
Environmental Services, Lambeth, London SE24 0PZ
Based at our Lambeth contract, you'll support the waste services for the local area that ensures that its streets and the environment are kept clean, safe and tidy.
Scotland
Forth Valley Hospital Trust, FK5 4WR - We work with the NHS to help create a better hospital environment for patients, their families and staff through the provision of cleaning and catering services.
Caledonian Sleeper, Glasgow, G2 1HG – From our base in Glasgow we operate the iconic overnight Sleeper service between London and Scotland.
