Serco enables the Armed Forces to retain their advantage in space, battlespace, and the land environment, protecting both UK nationals and allies at home and abroad and contributing to border control, counter-terrorism, and national security.
With over 50 years' proven track record in some of the most technically demanding and secure environments, we provide insight, know-how, and compelling foresight that ensures a successful mission outcome.
Serco can point to the Ballistic Missile Early Warning Systems (BMEWS) contract, Fylingdales, as the starting point for C6ISTAR. Since the early 1960s, we have been entrusted to work at the heart of some of the most advanced and sensitive facilities in conjunction with the Ministry of Defence.
Today, Serco continues to play a key role at BMEWS, but can also point to roles in Space (Secure Communications), Battlespace (Air Defence Radar), Land (Counter IED and EW), Data Analytics (Intelligence), and Information Management (Cyber & Crypto), underlining the contribution we have made to the world of C6ISTAR (Command, Control, Compute, Communicate, Cyber, Crypto, Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance).
Serco’s solutions transform ‘normal’ by integrating varying quantities of people, process, and technology to safely transition ‘as is’ into ‘to be’, thereby enabling previously unattainable capability, capacity, and efficiency.
We achieve this by employing, retaining, and investing in deep expertise within the fields in which we operate and by acting as an agnostic service provider, knowing that we have to be able to seamlessly work with Primes, OEMs, and SMEs to realise outcomes in a sustainable manner.
