Covid-19 Update: There have been a number of confirmed prisoner and staff cases of Covid-19 at HMP Lowdham Grange. As a result a number of prisoners are self-isolating and we have put in place a restricted regime with limited movements in the prison and regrettably have stopped all visits.

Our priority is to keep everyone safe and we are working with our NHS Healthcare partner and Public Health England to implement the best possible strategy to manage the virus. For those who have a visit booked in the next 14 days, you will be contacted and asked to reschedule. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

HMP Lowdham Grange is a category B training prison situated in Nottingham, operated by Serco.

Lowdham Grange houses adult male offenders aged 21 and over with sentences over four years and with at least 12 months to serve. It has a maximum capacity of 920.

One of the biggest aspects of life at Lowdham Grange which can sometimes be forgotten - the fact that prisoners are our customers. Our engagement with prisoners is at the heart of everything we do in order to fulfil our obligation to prepare offenders for effective release into the community, and to truly live by our values: Safe; Secure; Responsible; Decent and Efficient.
