Here are just a few examples of the type of events Serco attended in 2022 to encourage new landlords to work with us.
Northampton event
On the 10 November 2022, the Serco Property Team held its latest landlord and investor event in Northampton.
Our Director of Property, Lisa Dysch, spoke at the event to highlight the many new areas now open for landlords and investors to procure within, following the Home Offices decision to challenge all Local Authorities to ‘do their bit’, rather than a select few which had previous been the case.
We also had our Property Consultant, Rupert Atkinson, present at the event comparing revenue income, outgoing and yield between the private rental section and the Serco property lease offer.
The event was very well represented with a number of new landlords, not currently supplying properties to Serco, attending to gain a better understanding of our offer.
Landlord and Investor Show, London
On the 2nd November 2022, Serco attended the Landlord and Investor Show in Billinsgate, London to promote our footprint into the new areas.
The show was a great success with many new landlords interested in our lease and our seminar about AASC. Our Property Director, Lisa Dysch and our Property Consultant Rupert Atkinson spoke with landlords in London about the benefits of working with the Serco lease.
The presentation attracted so much attention that there was standing room only.
Solihull event
On 20th July the Property Team held a landlords event in Solihull. The day comprised of a presentation, to identify the benefits of working with Serco as well as break off zones to engage with the team to learn about AASC, property sourcing, property acquisitions, property standards as well as licencing.
The initial feedback from landlords has been very positive and we hope to see growth in the property pipeline.
National Landlord Investment Show, Birmingham
We operated an expo stand at the National Landlord Investment Show in Birmingham in May 2022. The objective being, to attract new landlords, agents and investors to work with Serco.
This event certainly generated a lot of interest.
