If you are concerned about a prisoner’s safety, health, or wellbeing, please contact the prison on 0330 1099511 if there is an immediate risk to life. If there is not, the call will be terminated.
For all other concerns, call 0116 509 2300. The call will be answered, or the answer machine service will take over. Messages will be checked periodically throughout the day.

We offer Purple Visits for Prisons which is a secure video calling platform specially designed for use within the criminal justice system.Register and create a Purple Visits account
Once registered, all bookings should be made through the Purple Visits app.

Visitors are permitted to bring a combined total of £60 to a scheduled visit. We do encourage you to bring the minimum required for a visit. Notes are permitted however visitors are encouraged to bring change where possible.
