Serco Awarded $35 Million Fleet Management and Maintenance Services Contract

Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services, announced today that the Company has been awarded a new contract to deliver fleet management and maintenance services to the City of Colorado Springs and Colorado Springs Utilities. The contract has a five year base period valued at $35 million.
Serco will service more than 3,500 city and utility vehicles and equipment, including all police and some fire vehicles. The Company will perform preventative maintenance and inspections, corrective repairs, accident repairs, inventory procurement and warehousing, and quality control services. Work under the contract starts January 1, 2014 at eight city- and utility-owned facilities around the City of Colorado Springs.

"Our experienced team will provide best-in-class service that the City deserves and expects."
Serco's presence in Colorado Springs spans for more than 18 years. Its largest contract delivers Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat systems and Intelligence (C5I) support to Peterson Air Force Base. For the new fleet management and maintenance service contract the Company will utilize its experience from current fleet management contracts with Seminole County Florida and Dayton Power & Light in Ohio.
