Clarence Correctional Centre
Clarence Correctional Centre is a state-of-the-art facility, purpose built to reduce reoffending. Opening in 2020, the facility will be the largest correctional centre in Australia and will create more than 600 new jobs in Grafton NSW.

The first inmates have arrived at Australia’s largest and most advanced correctional centre. Featuring a world-class intelligent design purpose-built for rehabilitation, Clarence Correctional Centre can accommodate up to 1700 male and female inmates across three unique centres.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Welling as Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific. Peter joined Serco five years ago as Managing Director of our Citizen Services business. Peter will succeed Mark Irwin, who will take on the role of CEO for Serco UK & Europe.
