Serco Awarded $42 Million Navy Identification Card Administration Contract

RESTON, VIRGINIA - Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services, has been awarded a contract with the Navy Personnel Command to provide Identification Card Administration (ICA) at 67 military sites around the world.  This task order was awarded under the SeaPort-e contract vehicle and Serco was selected from 12 teams bidding on the contract.  The four-year contract has a one-year base period and three one-year option periods, with a value of $42 million, if all options are exercised.   

This re-competed contract enables Serco to continue verifying entitlement to and issuing identification cards to eligible active duty, reserve, retiree and contractor personnel, as well as eligible family members.  The Company will deliver all project management requirements and will staff field offices throughout the United States, Hawaii and Guam.  Under the previous contract awarded in 2009, Serco has provided services to over 4 million customers and has issued over 1.5 million Common Access Cards (CAC).
