Serco Awarded Position on $5.1 Billion U.S. Army Communications Network Contract Vehicle

Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services, has been awarded one of 22 positions on the U.S. Army’s Global Tactical Advanced Communication Systems II contract vehicle.  The contract has a ceiling value across all awardees of $5.1 billion over ten years.

GTACS II covers information technology services and hardware to support the development of a tactical satellite communications (SATCOM) network for soldiers. The vehicle also includes software and hardware engineering, program management and analysis, systems engineering and supply chain management.
