Serco Appoints new CEO for North American business

Serco Inc, a leading provider of professional, technology, engineering, and management services, has appointed Michael LaRouche as its new Chief Executive Officer for the North American business, effective October 1, 2025.

Michael will succeed Tom Watson who is stepping down after seven years at Serco.

With over 30 years of business and engineering leadership across all domains, Michael brings superb expertise and knowledge to lead Serco’s North American expansion. His experience includes leadership positions at Lockheed Martin, Raytheon Company, and most recently at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). He also led and built businesses in the UK and Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.

Michael has delivered systems, products, and services across U.S. Defense and Federal/Civilian Agencies, including all branches of the US military and intelligence community. Specifically, his proven leadership delivering systems and services for space/ground, air, land, sea, and cyber customers is highly relevant to Serco’s strategy and growth ambitions.
