Serco Strengthens Government Relations with Appointment of Kim Joiner as Vice President

Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology, engineering, and management services, announced today that the Company has promoted Kim Joiner to the role of Vice President, Government Relations. Kim brings more than three decades of experience working on Capitol Hill, in the U.S. Department of Defense, and within the U.S. Federal government contracting industry.

In her new role, Kim will help the Company execute on its elected official outreach strategies, see around the corner on defense policy and regulatory changes, and pursue effective stakeholder engagement. Utilizing her deep experience, she will work closely with congressional leaders and government officials. Kim will also oversee and manage Serco's Political Action Committee (PAC), ensuring legal compliance and driving effective political engagement strategies.

Kim was promoted from her role as Senior Advisor to Serco's Chief Technology Officer, where she played a critical role in aligning Serco's business strategies, processes, and capabilities to support project missions and objectives in the defense and federal civilian industry. "I am eager to take up the mantle of advancing Serco's mission on the Hill and build on the foundation of our high-level relationships with our federal partners," said Kim Joiner.
