- UXV Design, Development, & System Engineering – Serco provides design, development, and systems engineering for various unmanned systems. We specialize in rapid prototyping and technology insertion to take platforms from concept to launch quickly and help clients keep pace with the rapid evolution of unmanned technology. Serco also designs autonomous installation support vessels, drone inspection systems, and air, surface, and underwater security systems for offshore wind farms.
- UXV AI & Machine Learning – Serco is incorporating AI and machine learning to advance autonomous platforms’ capabilities, from AI design tools that can advance design cycles and model the interactions between hundreds of discrete systems to predictive analytics that reduce failures and optimize maintenance, sparing, and logistics. Our team of data scientists and solutions architects draws from best-of-breed AI technologies informed by a deep understanding of our customer requirements.
- UXV Operations Support and Sustainment – Serco assists clients with full lifecycle support for UXV research and development and procurement, including surface, underwater, aerial, and ground-based autonomous systems. We offer rapid procurement of components and payloads, land and marine test range field support, support vessels and crews for underwater surveys, and logistics support for both CONUS and OCONUS.
- UXV Software Development – Serco provides software development support for unmanned systems, including secure cloud services for customer data delivery and developing and managing portals. We support the development of standard control systems that link autonomous platforms with surface, shore, and undersea operations to promote interoperability, reduce development and maintenance costs, and improve cybersecurity.
- UXV Systems Integration & Testing – Serco supports our clients by providing systems integration and testing for sensors, payloads, and other critical subsystems on various unmanned prototypes and production platforms.
- Deployed Ship Drone Inspection – Serco enables clients to rapidly scan ships using drones for battle damage assessments, collisions, or ongoing maintenance, including the topside, underwater hull, tanks, and flooded compartments.
- Rapid Autonomous Corrosion Evaluation Service (RACES) – Serco provides clients with comprehensive situational awareness of the state of corrosion across the fleet to improve the scheduling of maintenance and fleet readiness. Using air and underwater drones, RACES executes fast and economical scans of the ship wherever it is docked.
- Underwater Security Services – We provide counter UUV planning, development, and execution as a contractor-owned/contractor-operated (COCO) service to protect against autonomous threats. Serco employs advanced technology to detect, track, disable, and recover intruder UUVs operating in restricted waters. These services can be deployed to protect submarine bases, undersea pipelines, offshore wind farms, and other strategic assets with military or commercial importance.
