Europe Management Team

Stéphane is an accomplished executive leader with over 20 years of senior leadership experience, specialising in strategy development, business growth, and team-building across international markets. Currently serving as the Managing Director for Serco in Europe, Stéphane brings extensive expertise from his previous role as Regional CEO of G4S, part of Allied Universal, where he led operations in Europe. In that position, he was responsible for managing 45,000 employees across 19 countries and multiple service lines, consistently driving strong financial performance and operational excellence.

Known for his ability to build high-performing teams, Stéphane excels in creating strategic commercial relationships and fostering a customer-centric approach. His leadership style is centred around teamwork and delivering results by leading by example. Before his tenure at G4S, Stéphane held key leadership roles at FedEx Express, where he gained broad experience in sales and business management, further solidifying his reputation as a dynamic and versatile leader.

Julie is a highly-effective finance director with 15+ years of experience gained with well-known private firms. Prior to joining Serco, Julie held various leading positions in industrial sector groups, such as Nexans (SBF-120 listed electrical specialist) and Alstom (rail infrastructure). Julie is driven, pragmatic and combines a strong technical background with extensive on-field experience. Her international experience includes work in Belgium, France and the UK

Cristina is a very experienced and multilingual Chief Legal Officer. Prior to joining Serco, Cristina spent over 25 years in leading positions in the legal department of some of the world's largest Telecom and IT groups, such as Oracle, Nokia and Microsoft, as well as in smaller high growth scale-ups and unicorns.  In her last role, Cristina was Chief Legal Officer at OVHcloud, a European Cloud Services provider, heading the global legal department. Her expertise extends to contracts, data protection, governance and compliance in the private and public sector. Cristina is German and Italian, speaks fluently French, Italian, English and German and has work experience from different European countries. 

Arnaud is an experienced manager with an engineering background. Arnaud joined Serco in 1999 as Deputy Contract Manager for one of the largest Industrial Support contract for CERN, the European Particle Physics Laboratory, near Geneva. Between 2001 and 2007, Arnaud became progressively responsible for all Serco operations on the CERN sites and in France.

Since September 2008, Arnaud is France General Manager, overseeing Serco operations with the CERN near Geneva, with Oracle and the European Space Agency (ESA) in Paris and with the French Space Agency (CNES) in French Guiana.

Michael Schnitzler joined Serco in July 2024 and has since been responsible for Immigration at Serco Europe. Michael brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as Regional Director for Central Europe at G4S Secure Solutions AG. He possesses broad expertise in business-to-government relations and is adept at managing sensitive operations. An enthusiastic triathlete, he was born in Austria and has recently moved to Switzerland, where ORS – A Serco Company is headquartered in Zurich.

 

 

Roberto has spent most of his professional life in IBM, where he developed his career across several sectors. Roberto has a broad expertise in IT software and services industry, governments, consumer electronics, travel and transportation, consumer packaged goods and retails, banking and insurances as well as energy & utilities.

Roberto has successfully led a number of business areas and people, and has achieved significant results in new business start-ups, merger of products, and contracts sales growth. Roberto joins Serco in November 2017 as Italy General Manager.

Guido is a Aerospace Engineer with a Ph.D. in Space Science and Technologies. He joined Serco in 2006 in support to the Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer (GOCE Earth Explorer mission) and has since held several technical positions for a large number of European Space Agency (ESA) projects in the frame of both Earth Explorers and Copernicus Missions. 

Through the years, Guido has built a solid professional experience in the management and coordination of several European Commission, ESA and national funded projects in the domain of remote sensing, and also published a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals and specialised magazines. In 2015 he joined the Serco Europe Business Development team and in 2018 he was appointed Director of Space Business Development for Serco Europe.
