In Europe, we employ 1000+ staff across eight countries including Belgium, Luxembourg, France and French Guyana, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, delivering services on behalf of a range of public sector bodies such as the European Institutions, the Belgian and German Defence, the European Space Agency, and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).
We work closely with our customers to deliver custom-made and specialised services across International Organisations, Space and Defence. We combine global experience and local expertise, with a wide range of capability in IT services, Facility Management, Space Research and Operations.

Serco Belgium & Luxembourg
Serco Europe has operated in Belgium and Luxembourg (Belux) over the past 20 years and specialises in the delivery of outsourced public services. Serco Belux business focuses on support services to international institutions in Brussels and Luxembourg and outsourced services to the Belgian Army. Serco Belux employs 200+ staff and aims to grow over the next few years.
Serco France & Switzerland
Serco Europe has operated in France over the past 35 years. Serco’s business in France mainly provides Engineering, IT, FM & Administrative services for the European Space Agency (Paris and French Guiana), the Centre Spatial Guyanais (European Space Port), the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) , the European Banking Authority (EBA) and services to Oracle. At the French-Swiss border, Serco provides ICT Services, Industrial Support Services and operates and maintains the cryogenic installations for the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN). Serco France & Switzerland some employs 170 staff.
Serco Europe has operated in Germany over the past 30 years. Serco’s German business is mainly involved in interplanetary Space exploration, Earth and scientific observation missions to support the European Space Agency, the International Space Station (ISS) and the German Space Agency (DLR).
Serco Germany also provides environmental surveillance services through flight control operation teams and engineering for meteorological satellites at EUMETSAT. Serco Germany also provide IT services to the European Central Bank and customer Service support as well as classification and reclassification services to the European Patent Office. Serco German’s growing business relies on strong capabilities and a diverse and skilled workforce.
Serco Europe has operated in Italy for the past 30 years in providing highly specialised services for public agencies and organisations. Serco’s Italy core business field is Space, supporting the European Space Agency (ESA), the Italian Space Agency (ASI), the German Aerospace Center (DLR), European Environmental Agency (EEA) and many others to organise, maintain and process its huge volume of Earth Observation Data and to extract, manage process and archive valuable information. To support these critical operations, Serco Italy employs 250+ highly specialised staff.
Serco Italy also developed a strong portfolio of competence in IT services, as the backbone of Data Exploitation and Scientific Services, an example being the Cloud, Virtual Desktop, Service Desk and many others.
Serco Netherlands & Spain
Serco Europe has operated in the Netherlands and Spain over the past 30 years, mainly in the field of Space. Serco Netherlands and Spain have a long history of partnership and trust with the European Space Agency (ESA). In both countries, Serco is proud to deliver the highest calibre of people and services at ESTEC (ESA’s technology and engineering hub) and ESAC (ESA’s Astronomy and Science centre). At the heart of its business, Serco Netherlands and Spain source, train, care and support employees, enabling them to better pursue their dreams of working in the Space industry in excelling in the delivery of essential public services.
