Peta returned to Serco as Head of Risk & Assurance for Asia Pacific before becoming Acting General Counsel in October 2025.
Previously, Peta supported Serco's UK & Europe division from 2016 to 2021 as Legal Director for the Justice & Immigration business.
With over 15 years of leadership experience, Peta has held legal executive roles in both the private sector and complex, regulated environments, working across Australia and the UK & Europe. Her career includes senior legal positions in Private Equity and at Rolls-Royce and Lloyds Banking Group.
As Acting General Counsel for Serco Asia Pacific, Peta leads the Legal and Risk team, providing strategic legal counsel to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board on corporate, commercial, litigation, insurance, and regulatory matters. Peta is recognised for building strong stakeholder relationships and fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and proactive risk management. Peta’s leadership has been instrumental in supporting major commercial activities, including bids, contracts, acquisitions, and joint ventures, with a particular focus on government sector clients.
Peta holds a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications, a Juris Doctor, and an MBA. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW. Peta also mentors emerging legal professionals.
