A major Perth campaign has been launched to attract over 1000 non-clinical staff required for the new Fiona Stanley Public Hospital, opening in April 2014.

The recruitment is one of the largest in Western Australia this year; creating new jobs and boosting the local economy.

Services company Serco is running the campaign and is operating the facilities management and support services in the new hospital.

Serco Facilities Management Director for Fiona Stanley Hospital, Joe Boyle said: “This is an exciting opportunity for the people of Perth. We will be recruiting for a large range of positions, from grounds maintenance right through to hospital sterilisation staff.

“Through this campaign, we would like to get local people considering what opportunities there may be for them, including those who haven’t previously considered working in a hospital.

“Fiona Stanley Public Hospital will offer an outstanding working environment for employees, with its modern staff facilities, gardens, cafes and easy access to public transport.

“Right now, we are asking people interested in working with us to register for job opportunity updates at: www.FSHcareers.com.au.

“Recruiting over 1000 high quality staff in a 12 month period is a big challenge, but it’s one we are looking forward to achieving. Seeing our staff in this iconic hospital, delivering essential services to Western Australians will be very rewarding.”
