Serco is pleased to announce that we have obtained the certification for ISO 55001 for our Asset Management system for the Facilities Management Business Unit and the Fiona Stanley Hospital contract.
Serco manages in excess of 500,000 assets for WA Health at the Fiona Stanley Hospital site across 21 service lines. The assets managed and maintained range from complex engineering systems through to ICT and medical equipment.
It is a great achievement for Fiona Stanley Hospital as it is the first hospital in Western Australia to obtain the certification.
Helen Robinson, Facilities Management National Operations Director said “The certification is a huge achievement for our facilities management team at Fiona Stanley Hospital. Being certified with the world’s leading standard for asset management recognises the high quality of the asset management services provided to our customer”.
The addition of ISO 55001 certification to Serco’s asset management solution means our customers can be assured that our asset management processes, procedures and technology systems have been rigorously analysed, tested and audited in accordance with the best asset management international standard.
“This certification provides an independent level of assurance of our asset management capabilities to our customers, our colleagues and the broader stakeholder groups we serve,” said Poly Smith, Transformation Director Asset Management, Serco Facilities Management.
