Serco to continue ensuring safe, healthy and clean learning environments for students and staff in NSW, with successful cleaning services rebid

Serco is delighted to share that the NSW Department of Education has renewed Serco’s contract to provide cleaning services to schools, TAFEs and Government facilities across the northern Sydney region.

Serco thanks the NSW Government for its ongoing trust, and for the ability to continue playing a central role in ensuring safe, healthy and clean learning environments for students, families and educators in NSW.

Serco’s General Manager – Community, David Reynolds, shared that Serco has a proud history of delivering exceptional service to the NSW community through high-quality, consistent cleaning operations. Serco’s large team of dedicated staff have been providing this essential work to the state’s education facilities since 2018.

“A big thanks goes out to the entire team for this great result. This successful renewal is a testament to our people. On average, our fantastic cleaners have been with us for seven years. This impressive average tenure is a reflection of their dedication and the positive, well-supported working environment we continuously strive to deliver.

“We are proud that our cleaning team are highly valued and loved by their school communities, and enjoy careers characterised by flexibility and support that allow them to thrive.”
