What a weekend! The Serco team were proud to be in the stands at the Australian Defence Force (Defence Australia)’s ADF Australian Rules (ADFAR) All Stars matches over the ANZAC Day weekend. As a sponsor of the games, Serco AsPac was proud to see our umpires’ uniforms in action on the fie
ld, captured below in the curtain-raiser matches which saw the ADF AFL All Stars facing off against the Australian Combined Emergency Services (ACES) team and the Greater Western Sydney Giants (GWS GIANTS).
The ANZAC Challenge matches are the pinnacle of selection for ADFAR players, and it was a privilege to witness our Defence athletes’ leadership, camaraderie and skills on the field on full display during the events.
Congratulations to the ADF Mens team for taking home the trophy on Saturday, after staving off fierce competition from ACES to score a lead in the final minutes.
We also congratulate the GWS Giants for an impressive win in the Womens match on Sunday, but not without facing strong pressure from the ADF All Stars. It was an added privilege to catch Kath Toohey AM, CSC at the event.
