Kicking goals on and off the field
As a Correctional and Training Support Officer at Adelaide Remand Centre (ARC), Nicole is an advocate for women breaking biases in sport and the workplace – a true champion for embracing equity for women.
Nicole’s journey with Serco began in 2013 but she joined the ARC team as a part of the first group of recruits when Serco commenced operation of the facility in 2019.

Whilst she always had an interest in justice and corrections, Nicole’s true passion lives on the football field. “In 2020, I reached my goal of being drafted in the AFLW and had the opportunity to play five games for the Adelaide Crows before Covid cut the season short.”
A fierce competitor on the football field, Nicole has also been playing for the Panthers South Adelaide Football Club (SAFC) for the past six years and was nominated as Vice-Captain in 2022.
Recently achieving a 50-game milestone, Nicole has become the second Panthers and fifth South Australian National Football League (SANFL) player to do so. But her long list of accolades doesn’t end there, having earned SAFC Best and Fairest twice, Advertiser SANFL Women’s Team of the Year twice, SAFC Most Valuable Player, and has been appointed SAFC Vice-Captain again for 2023.
In her spare time, Nicole is dedicated to mentoring and coaching young female players, helping them to acquire the skills and opportunities to follow their football dreams as well. As a member of the SAFC leadership group, Nicole helps the younger players with game tactics, sharing her experiences and creating a culture that allows young talent to develop in a supportive environment.
In support of Nicole’s ambition to pursue her sporting career while also playing an important role at ARC, Serco is sponsoring Nicole for the second year in a row to ensure she is properly equipped for
the 2023 season.
