Communication and compliance

By complying with our Supplier Code of Conduct we know that wherever you are located, producing products for us, or delivering services for us, that they are produced and/or provided in a manner that is compatible with the high standards we have set ourselves that contribute to the reputation of Serco.

So, it is important that you effectively communicate to those who work for you and your sub-contractors these commitments and standards when doing business with us.

If you have any questions about this Code, ask us.

We reserve the right to do such things as announced and unannounced inspections of facilities, to ensure you are complying with this Code. We expect you to maintain at each of your facilities the necessary documents to demonstrate compliance with our Code. You must allow representatives from Serco and, if requested, Serco’s customers, full access to your facilities, documents, worker records and workers for confidential interviews in compliance with local laws.

Where non-compliance with our Code is identified, you are expected to take necessary corrective actions to promptly remedy them. We reserve the right to terminate our business relationship with any of our Suppliers who are unwilling or unable to comply with this Code, when termination is allowed by local laws.

We encourage you to communicate to us any actions taken to improve your business practices and to send us suggestions about how we can best contribute to the implementation of the principles in this Code.
