Serco was awarded a 5-year contract to provide air traffic services on behalf of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, commencing in June 2022.

Bringing Ras Al Khaimah International Airport to Serco’s portfolio means that Serco is now the provider of both aerodrome and approach control services.

Ras Al Khaimah International Airport has an average of 20 flights a day and serves several major destinations including India, Russia, Ukraine, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

It also is an essential training hub for UAE flight training organisations

The contract was signed by Serco Middle East CEO Phil Malem and His Excellency Engr. Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al Khaimah at Dubai Airshow on 16th November 2021.
