– Provision of 24/7/365 managed support services in UK, Afghanistan, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE and Cyprus.
– Space operations of the four Skynet 5, four Skynet 4 and one NATO satellite and the associated communication networks.
– On call engineering support and facilities management (FM)
– Deployment of 50 operations and maintenance engineers overseas under Contractors on Deployed Operations (CONDO) conditions

– Operations and maintenance support to the US Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) for up to 140 spacecraft of all types.

Serco is the key partner of choice for spacecraft management services and has been providing services to ESA for over 35 years for the operational management of many significant interplanetary, Earth Observation (EO) and astronomical space missions.
Our activities range from the preparation for real-time operations, through the development, testing and validating of all procedures and processes; to their utilisation during the operational lifetime of the spacecraft. Our engineers, space track analysts and controllers are key to ensuring the good health of the spacecraft and the successful outcome of the mission.

Serco has provided 24/7/365 operations and maintenance support at Royal Air Force (RAF) Fylingdales for over 50 years
– 1st, 2nd & 3rd line radar maintenance, software and systems support, plus full facility maintenance for the radar infrastructure.
– Technical and maintenance support to the RAF at the site
– A ‘Whole Force By Design’ approach – Serco is fully embedded within the RAF’s operational teams to provide technical assistance.
– Provision of space training for space track analysts
