Technical Support Services
We provide technical support services to many of the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to help keep helicopters, fighters, transport and training aircraft in the air, as well as direct regulated technical services for a variety of training and support aircraft types.
In the UK we enhance the productivity and effectiveness of Merlin helicopter Depth Pulse lines, providing services to Tornado, Typhoon, Chinook and Hercules engines. We carry out high-level diagnostic tests on weapons and electronic warfare equipment and provide surface finish services to the aviation sector and most of the UK military’s aircraft, including the Red Arrows.

Fire Rescue Services
Our comprehensive fire and rescue service solution provides our clients with trained and experienced personnel as well as the latest vehicles and equipment. We design training solutions and packages that work for our clients. Our dynamic approach to training allows us to provide an accredited and certified fire and rescue workforce either through use of Serco’s own training facilities, at our IFTC in the UK, here in the Middle East or at client facilities. – Structural rescue and firefighting service – Medical response – Fire station maintenance and operations – Fire station administration – Incident command and control – Equipment support and inspection – Certified training
Air Traffic Control
We have been operating the air traffic control in Sharjah and Bahrain since 1947. Serco is the only significant non-government provider of air navigation services in the world and is the only commercial provider to encompass the three disciplines of tower operations, approach control, and en-route centres to ensure 24/7operations.
