Workplace wellbeing
We’re proud to be one of the first global organisations to achieve the ISO 45003 accreditation for management of psychological health and safety at work. We recognise that creating a safe and healthy work environment is key to ensuring our people can thrive.
Our employee wellbeing programme and dedicated mental wellbeing App are available for all UK employees, and their families, to reach out and access support 24/7.
Equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace
We are one of only two private sector organisations to be awarded Gold status in the Inclusive Employers Standard in UK & Europe. This achievement recognises the positive progress we have made to embed inclusion, equality, and diversity across our organisation. We currently have over 5000 members in our diversity and inclusion networks, all working together to ensure we have a diverse workforce and inclusive workplaces where everyone belongs.
We are also a proud Gold Award member of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) as part of our ongoing commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant – see our recent Q&A with two of Serco’s ex-forces.
Supporting our people and the wider community
We aim to make a positive impact on our people, the public we serve, and the communities we work in. The Serco People Fund was launched in December 2021 to help current and retired Serco employees, and their close families, in times of extraordinary financial hardship. To date it has donated over £100,000 in life-changing grants.
The Serco Foundation is a charitable trust, working with a range of partners, including charities, research bodies, and social enterprises, which helps improve public services for vulnerable people all around the world.
