UK Resilience Academy (UKRA)
We’re experts in resilience. Working in close partnership with the Cabinet Office since 2010, Serco is the trusted provider of the UKRA, the centre of resilience learning and development for the UK. We work with central and local governments, responder organisations, emergency services, and businesses across the world to build, strengthen and rehearse their emergency and crisis management capabilities.
With a unique network of leading experts with in-depth knowledge and experience across sectors, the UKRA is the largest and only government endorsed provider of emergency planning training, as well as a specialist provider in organisational resilience, crisis and incident management and prepardness, across its advisory, training and exercising services.
We train and exercise over 8,000 people every year, both online and in person at the purpose-built training campus situated at the historic 240-acre Hawkhills estate. We also deliver customised in person learning offsite at customers’ chosen locations, as well as online through our e-learning packages.
Our flagship Lessons Digest thought leadership programme delivered in partnership with the Cabinet Office, provides evidence-based insight to support learning from real life exercises and emergencies. Widely regarded as best practice, it reaches over 80,000 individuals from the global resilience community.
Helping organisations to adapt for future challenges
We work with organisations to build their resilience, capability, and skills to prepare for and anticipate change.
We empower them to determine when to absorb impact or adapt their operations when disruptions occur.
In this ever-changing world, building resilience is vital to achieving strategic objectives, meeting legal and regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.
Together we’ll evaluate your plans and to build confidence, identify lessons and challenges, and recommend improvements.
