We’re committed to supporting rehabilitation and reducing reoffending through meaningful employment.
Across the UK, a number of industries face a growing skills shortages. At the same time, thousands of prisoners are seeking a second chance - a way to rebuild their lives through meaningful work.
Serco, in partnership with NAADUK, has trained over 340 prisoners in professional air duct cleaning. This initiative not only equips individuals with industry-recognised qualifications but also creates a pipeline of skilled, motivated workers ready to contribute upon release.
Why it works
Real skills: Prisoners receive hands-on training aligned with industry standards.
Real jobs: Many go on to secure employment immediately after release.
Real impact: Reducing reoffending through purposeful rehabilitation.
