Partnering with Industry to transform rehabilitation Industry and employer partnerships

We’re committed to supporting rehabilitation and reducing reoffending through meaningful employment.

Across the UK, a number of industries face a growing skills shortages. At the same time, thousands of prisoners are seeking a second chance - a way to rebuild their lives through meaningful work.

Serco, in partnership with NAADUK, has trained over 850 prisoners in professional air duct cleaning. This initiative not only equips individuals with industry-recognised qualifications but also creates a pipeline of skilled, motivated workers ready to contribute upon release, with 48 of these prisoners have applied for or been offered positions at specialist ventilation hygiene company Overclean Ltd.
