The minimum stroke weight is 1pt for print or 2 pixels for web, at the minimum size. If there is more than one icon on a page which vary in size then it is recommended that they all have the same stroke weight, for example in an infographic.

When scaling an icon, always scale the stroke weight and icon proportionately. 

Don’t change the stroke weight of individual elements. They should all be equal.
